County Championship
Follow the weekly results on the GCSL website to see current rankings. Note that the top 50 available swimmers qualify, meaning that your swimmer could still make it even if they are 60th, but that is not guaranteed.
At the end of every summer season, every team in the GCSL goes to the County Championship. The 50 fastest available swimmers in every event and the A relays (fastest relays) from every team compete in a very exciting and fast meet.
It is hosted at Georgia Tech's McAuley Aquatic Center. This is one of the best pools in the world, which also hosted the 1998 Summer Olympics and the 2022 NCAA Championships. Swimmers are always excited and sometimes a little queasy, but it is a wonderful memory and a great accomplishment.
Because qualification is based on placement, there is not a specific time which will qualify a swimmer for the county meet. If you want to see estimates to use as goal times, please see Hanarry's GCSL Motivational Times.
